Team Leader
What is the role of the Team Leader?
Pre Review
The Team leader organises a meeting with the Team so they can get to know each other before the review. They also meet with the organisation to set up the review, this includes creating an itinerary for the review days. Once the itinerary is confirmed the Team Leader meets with the team again to go through the itinerary before the review.
During the review
The Team leader takes on the role of Team Leader and Assessor during the review. They are also responsible for making sure the itinerary is kept to and that they lead briefings and de briefings with the team during the review. Another key role is leading the discussion regarding grading the standards.
Post Review
The Team Leader is responsible for the writing of the Scope Review report. Agreeing on the grades of the standards is done collaboratively as a team as is the content of the report including the findings and the recommendations.
The Team Leader carries out the follow up with the organisation for at least 1 year meeting with the Manager and a designated Board Member of the organisation to work with the organisation to set time frames with the organisation in setting out to work on meeting or getting best practice in the standards they have either not met or partially met.
The Team Leader will offer a re review once the organisation is confident they have met or they are best practice in the standards that they either had on met or partially met.
If the organisation wishes to have a Re review the Team Leader will set a date with organisation and the Scope Assessors that participated in the review of the organisation will be asked if they are able to participate in the re review. If they are unable to we will seek to get other Assessors to be in the Re review Team. It is important for at least the Team Leader who led the review is part of the Re review Team.
